Light and strong rope
This HMPE rope has a very high breaking strength and wear resistance, the
word Dyneema is often used. D100XTR is a pure HMPE core coated with
polyurethane to provide extra protection against solar UV and wear and tear.
The line is pre-stretched in order to become as rigid as possible, which makes
it a strong rope that often replaces wire.
The HMPE line is available in both grey and black and can be purchased on a
spool or by the meter, with diameters ranging from 3 mm to 24 mm. Please
note that the raw material is now gray or black and does not bleed color. It
features a transparent coating to protect the line.
The brand Dyneema is owned by
DSM. All these lightweight &
super-strong fibers belong to a
common term: High Modulus
Polyethylene (HMPE) fibers.
There are many producers
worldwide, so we use the term
HMPE as a reference.
